Default Shipping around Xmas time

Hey everyone, I recently purchased an exhaust and I was told it was shipped on December 17 and as of today I still have not received it. It was was shipped from the US to Canada, previous items I received from the US took about 8 to 9 working days max. I understand that due to Xmas all the extra mail would cause a delay but I'm starting to get worried as I payed $470 for this exhaust. Has anyone had such a delay like this around Xmas?

I'm waiting for the seller to get back to me with a tracking number as he's away on vacation at the moment. Sounds shady I know but the guy is well known and has nothing but positive feed back on the site I got it from. Oynx what problems were you having shipping stuff out?

88Dx it's 470cdn so about 350us and the Apexi N1 cat back for the MR2 turbo has gains of 14hp on the dyno. The MR2 has a really restrictive exhaust!

Ok so its probably worth it then on a MR2 but then again it only takes like 2 min's and no $$$ to unbolt it.

what is the sellers name by chance? this sounds like a problem a had with a guy a while ago, and it just so happens that he sells exhaust systems on ebay, he told me he was on vacation, he told me his fater died, he told me he got flashburn welding my manifold, he told me the company sent him the wrong flanges, etc, etc, no bullshit, it took him over 3 mos. to send me my stuff after i paid, and it looked like ***. i hope this isn't the same guy you are talking about, if so, you're fucked, cause even if you do get your stuff, it will look like ----, the guy i'm talking about, his user name is "manddreed", and if this is him, i have all his contact info, so just get up with me, but then again, there's a million shady sellers on egay, so chances are it's not him

well, as long as he is still keeping in contact with you, i'm sure you will get it eventually, it's when they stop answering your emails that you need to get worried. if you have his name and address, you can get his phone number off of one of the online phonebooks or just call information for his town. i also scared the guy that was selling my stuff b/c i looked up a map of his address and started naming street names around him and told him that i had friends and family that live in the same town, and i actually had an hmt member that did live in the same town call his house and was going to take further action, but the guy finally sent my ----. basically, if you don't get your ----, let us know, we love to flood emails, make obscene calls/threats, etc., it's the hmt way
