i don't know about 96-98 coupe's, but 99-00 are em's, hatches are ek's, 92-95 hatches are eh's, 92-95 coupes are ej's, 01-04 hatches are ep's, etc., etc. it's the chassis code on the vin tag. i know almost everyone including myself refers to 92-95 hatches as 'eg's' even though the're not, but the coupe's
