This sounds like a bunch of BS to me. Niether of those companies would adimit that there goal is a 8 year old car from an other company that didn't sell for ---- is their benchmark. They could have just as easily said the supra was a benchmark. This sounds like bs made up to get a bunch of ricer's panties wet.

I just saw one of the new STIs modeled after more of a hatchback (ala renault)... Took about 30 seconds to get used to the new look, but I think like it...

i believe you... there is alot of dealerships that do that.. there are a couple in sioux falls south dakota that do that they have like 3 eg's for sale and 2 ek's all with k20s and they said that they were all stock and built from scratch buy a couple of the toyota mechanics cause they work on hondas on the side .. they even had a couple tc's with blowers a old mr2 turbo all clean as ---- and a mean looking rx7 with very rusty brakes and no motor
