I'd trade in a hot minute. Those civics aren't anything as special as honda-tech would have you believe. The type R is the grand daddy. Buy it, and when you get back here ship it with you. In 20 years you'll be that guy sitting on a mint 69 camaro. Git-R-done

yeah, i know. I mean, the R is the R. Next thing up Honda wise would be the NSX, and thats classified as a 'super car'. The R would be the grand frickin daddy of them all. Would I bring the entire car back, probably not. I would leave the shell here and bring home everything else and then find a recovered shell somewhere and 'restore a R'. I love my hatch, its set up pretty ------ solid. But at the same time I have a chance to pretty much trade for a type R.

its a serious toss-up. I think I might throw mine on the market here and see what happens, if I get any takers. if it happens, it does, if it doesn't, it doesn't.

Dude, honestly. Go R, I am with Stealthmode here, the bottom line is that if you go R, and you get it back here in one piece. 50 Years from now, you will be at shows with a Matching number/paint number Honest to Goodness LHD ITR.

The hatch is pretty sweet especialy with the Spoon blingness, but I would get the ITR. That thing looks super clean.
