The problem with the apex seals relies in the tune. Im not worried about getting it tuned, there are PLENTY of people here who can put a tune on it. an apex seal is $30 per seal, needs 6. Ive had friends tell me theyve gone out for a tuning night, fucked a seal up, come home and rebuild the motor and finished the tune all in 6 hours time.

They are very touchy/very sensitive. A honda, you nail the ---- out of it, it runs a little lean, you contiune on...you do that with a rotary and your fucked. Its all within the tune.
yea pretty much exactly as i expected i didnt think the seals would be hard to do just do it right te first time they are too touchy to alot of diy to them.

I was at a shop the other day, 13b out of the car, nothing else attached to it (nothing) and he had that ****** competly disassembled in about 10min. They can be rebuilt in teh car from my understanding.

+1 after what you've said. Access to that many rotary specialists really does make it a bit of a no brainer.

cant wait to see some pics of it, fd's are some of the sexy'est cars on the planet hands down. The sweet sweet sound of a rotary gives me a boner.
