Thats ------- sweet, I'm acually looking for a used meduim sized metal lathe right now. Everything I look at is either 100000000 years old, smaller then ---- or huge :1

I don't mind a lathe made shortly before the ice age, but you have to know a bit about lathes to determine if it is in good condition.

those are fine if the beds tight(never are), the older ones with the dink sized hole in the chuck suck for any long stock too. :P

One of my friend has two in his shop at his house. One was built in the 80's and is junk. The one they do all thier precision milling on was built in the mid 20's and is driven by a little 110 motor on the back. bed and all is rock solid and will last forever!

Actually... i dont see anything French in there... iare you sure you are not mistaken? seems to be brasilian made cause it is in portuguese
