School meH! fucken nig nogs
okay, just bought a 93 EG hatch CX today. it's so fucken ugly. well i'm pieceing the newish used parts to make it look.. presentable. well anyways i simply bought it to boost the ---- out of it.. and well i dont know ---- about this stupid fucken motor.
was driving it.. man it's so FUKEN SLOW. as slow as my buddy's D15 stock CRX.. SLOWER if anything. im pretty sure it's not living up to it's 105 HP.. or whatever the ---- it's rated at. it fucken almost dies out on it's own weight when i engage the clutch.
im guessing it's a timing issue. but well.. i don't know how to set the distributer. currently it looks like the distributor is set at as far as it can go twords the radiator. i think i read somewhere that if i want to advance it a tad. i just move it twords the windshild? think it'll help out with any power gains?

oh yeah i like to mention that it hesitates when i WOT from idle, actually it's more like a "im going to respond when i want to respond."

um buy or borrow a timming light and just check to see if its in time or not. if not adjust the distibitor till the light matches the right mark. pretty damn simple after you do it once. if that doesnt work that means you need a new timing belt because its getting old and sliped a tooth probibly. you probibly shouldnt of put this in GD.

Don't go getting hostile just cause you posted some ****, that doesn't give you some kind of HMT shield.
I'm sure if you set the distributor exactly in the middle of all the way forward and all the way backwards the car will at least run better until you can get it dialed in.

Mine used to hesitate at low RPM's and kind of fall on its face a bit. I just twisted it back until it felt right. I hit it with a light at first to find where it was supposed to be and went from there. Car runs minty now.
