oh and imho this isnt needed on a chopsaw...you are controlling the blade, and the wood is stationary. You can even clamp the wood in place so your hand comes nowhere near the blade.

Its the electric charge in our body that triggers it, i guess its kinda like those table lamp where u can turn it on/off with a touch on the metal part

no there is constantly a sin wave electrical charge running though the blade at a certain frequency and amplitude, when your body touches it it somewhat grounds it out and the sin wave gets distorted and chip inside detects that and fires the brake.
apparently some materials will set it off so they have a bypass on it, probably really wet wood or something along that route
