GM pumps suck, period.

DO NOT buy another from the dealer, 1/3 of those fail within 2 months.

Buy a replacement Walbro from a decent online retailer.

tell him to get somebody to crank it and then he can hit the gas tank with a hammer. Dont b shy smash it good, most will start up.

Yeah sometimes you have to dent the sheild to make good contact with the tank

if you think there is no power to the pump why dont u tell him to take a volt meter and just check it
