hello, I have a 92 honda prelude with a f22a1 engine, I'm turboing the car, I'm installing the S-AFC. I got all the wires hooked up, but when I look to hook up the pressure signal, its not there in the ECU. its an empty pin on the plastic block. It should be the yellow and white wire on the AFC. I'm using the H2-a ECU wiring diagram in the apexi book. Do i need the pressure signal, please help, ,thanks ray

make sure your holding the ecu the right way,When i put my safc in my civic i coulndt find the power wire and found out i was holding the ecu wrong.I pretty sure the diagram is with the plug ,pluged in ,but i can remember exactly.

The Apexi wiring diagram is of the harness looking at it from the back where the wires plug into the ECU, not of the front. I mixed them up and had every wire reversed the first time. Turn your ignition to on and see if the SAFC turns on, if it doesn't you have the wires reversed. There will be a risk of shorting the SAFC but mine was fine even with the + and - reversed along with every other wire...

get a multimeter and check the wires on the harness for power before hooking up your safc. if you find the power wire you know which way to hold the harness. you can also get a haynes and probably a helms and it will show the wiring diagram with colors as well.

I found out why I didn't fine that wire, Duh, I'm wiring up the afc to the ecu plugs, but I have teh plugs un-pluged from the ecu, witch would make it backwards whem I go to plug it back in to the ecu, I feel like such a dumb ----, thanks for the info, this site is great.

the way the pinout diagram is for the safc, you are looking at the ecu itself with no plugs in it, and you just match the corresponding connector wire to the ecu pin. and it even illustrates the top and bottom when you are lookin at the ecu.

not trying to rub it in... but oh well you figured it out, thats all that matters i guess.
