Your friend obviously didn't use HGH (not a steroid though, but bodybuilders use it). Think fountain of youth. They give it to aids patients. It's why Magic Johnson went from the size of a forward/guard to the size of a center. The stuff splits cells (hyperplasia?) while roids just increase cell capacity and protien synthesis.
