Ripping DVD's....

Re: Ripping DVD's....
Search for AnyDVD in Google. You get a full functioning program on a 21 day trial. You can crack it or just reload it every 21 days.
That is just a driver which removes the encryption on the DVD. You will need a program that compresses the information so that it will fit on a single layer DVD. You can also just go Dual layer, but who needs that.
I personally use DVD Shrink for burning and re-authoring.

DVD Shrink is the best free utility for copying dvd's, good thing is that its free! If u are a lil more into the whole digital media bullshit use hand break. It rips the movie into an MP4 file using h.264 codec and i think acc for the audio. Good thing is that it doesnt compress it like dvd shrink, so u get original quality (u cant really tell unless u have a huge HDTV)

The only thing that looks good on HD is Bluray or HD-DVD, followed by HD broadcast, followed by DVD, then regular NTSC broadcasts...
