Yeah pretty freak accident. ------- NHL will probably impose neck guards or something now.

they prolly wont impose neck guards because it happends so rarely..

but its fucked up none the less

whats the name of the other player who got his throat cut years ago and there was a bigger puddle of blood?

Clint Malarchuk, 19 years ago. When one of the announcers in the video above says "I've never seen so much blood in my life" the other announcer says "Uh, I have" because he was also announcing the game way back when Clint was cut.

In lower leagues they usually mandate full face with a minimum distance between the 'laces' of the wire weave. I hate wearing a face shield, my vision is obstructed so much with one on.

Your listening french Canadian TV !!!

This kind of accident doesnt happen often and when it happen its hard to believe. The neck is not a good place to get cut

Zednik is a realy good player (played in Canadian of Montreal) I hope he will be fine.
