repainted my S13
Let me explain this paintjob real quick. I've wanted a flat black car since long before Skunk2 started doing it, before SCC did it, and long before every other ricer with a civic did it. I liked rat rods before I knew what they were, and before they were even really popular. To me it says, it's not what my car looks like, but that it is mine. Since flat black was taken from me, I went for...well, this. It's not perfect, but I don't want it to be. I can drive the ---- out of it, and when I scratch it, or get door dings, rock chips, etc... Repair is just a rattle away. It's also not quite done yet, I was just excited to post the pics.
So without any further delay...

Pic: D/S front

This is also for sale, I decided to continue with my education, so I had to quit my job. I need some cash to cover school expenses. $3k firm.

Re: repainted my S13
that reminds me of my CRX... the olive drab was mighty sexy.
Looks good. I really like the rims you have in back. You should just do like the rat rods and paint it up semi gloss black or "hot rod black" ---- would look sicker, even though it's mainstream now.
Or put a light coat of clear on what you got.

Re: repainted my S13
I had the wheels black, but I went to gold for just a touch of flash. I can't do satin black, a friend who has an S13 coupe with the same wheel & brake setup as me has it. I did clear the front bumper to see what it would look like, and it turned into a british racing green. It looked good, but it showed the defects real bad, and this car is full of defects. If I tried to smooth out all the dings it would probably take a full gallon of bondo.
