the red one please....(one crappy pict)
The Passat was tired so we went out today and got an A3 with the 2.0T.It makes 200hp and 200lbfttq.It a quick little car.The only diference between it and the A4 is about 2feet in lenght.I got the spotrs package with recaro style leather seats and sport tuned suspension with 17" wheels and 225 tires. The top is black due to a panoramic roof.
Its fun as hell to drive.I test drove boht the manuel and the auto and got the auto.Believe it or not its a lot quicker than the stick. It has F1 inspired steering wheel mounted padle shifters and the tranny shifts in .08 of a second. Its a six speed. It rips hard as heel through all six gears.I had my mind set to get the stick and test drove both and the auto won me over.ATP has a program for it that makes 285hp and 325ftlbtq wich is going to be the first mod
here is the crappy pict...
Next up are some rims with a fat lip, maybe a carbon hood,3"exhaust and defenetly that ATP program,

damn that thing is nice, but your gonna probably get flamed for getting a euro car. nice number too and even better with the kit. is the suspension any kind of name brand or just an audi tuning thing?
oh and you went outside your name. :P

Shouldn't you have got an old Buick regal with daytons?
It seems like it would be a good family cruiser, but your plans make it seem like this is your next "civic". If it's your next project car, I would of gotten a stick. :P

This is my wifes dailey driver so it cant be my next project. The ATP progran lets you switch between the stock setting and their program.
I knew the "you should of got a stick" thing was comeing. You need to drive this car to apreciate the auto/DSG transmision.Car and Driver mag. picked the auto over the stick too
this is what Motortrend thinks of the auto tranny.....
At the track, we paddle-shifted our Direct Shift Gearbox-equipped tester to a 6.2-second 0-to-60-mph run--it was quicker than one equipped with a conventional manual transmission.
The DSG, which Audi calls an "automatic," is really an electro-hydraulically controlled manual transmission (or auto-clutch manual). You can opt for a standard stick, but why? The DSG is faster and delivers shifts as smooth as in the best automatics. And it blows away everything else in the clutch-pedal-less manual-transmission category. BMW's base-level Sequential Manual Gearbox? Nein. Ferrari's pricey F1? Arrivederci. Toyota's SMG? Sayonara, too.
