Talk to your local exterminator and he should have some good ideas.Are they actaul rats or mice?------- rats are nasty things as they are to big enough that when you poison them you have to find there carcass after otherwise it will stink like a bastard when they rot.

the way rat pison works, it thins their blood so much that it makes them bleed internelly. So be carefull with that cuz you might have to clean up some nasty shiet.

um... cats are way better at this. unless you get one lazy bastard of a cat. yesterday wasdriving dopwn the street and i saw some cat stalking somehing in the bushes, so i honked. lets just say the cat didnt even notice me. get one of those super hunter cats and he will sleep inside your car.

no im serious. most likely black cats sem to be the hunters. i dont know why. like mine wa jet black, and could catch birds in mid flight. its takjen down numerous squirrels, exterminated all the chipmunks and vole in our property, and .. well... believe it or not, it pwned a dog fully in the face once. but damn was it a nice cat. best pet i ever had. just a super setanic mob killing cat.

put rat glue all over the floor board, put some food on top of it. let it sit for a few day should do the trick. but then you will have to clean it up.
Or use moth ball like crx88SI said, but i think they will stink up too.
don`t even think of using pison, it might just die somewhere in the dash and rotten

or tape up the vent underneth the trunk, and close the re-circulation should keep it from getting in ??

Thats how ive been lately when i drive the car. Everytime i stop at a light i take a look around the car just to make sure theres not one riding along. I dont know why but im ------- pairiniod of these bastards. I about freaked out the other week while driving, i looked down at the passenger seat and thought one of the rats where riding bitch. It was just a friends cell phone he left in the car. I guess there is not much i can do other than set traps under the car.
