Default RANT: ---- coolant lines

Tonight totally sucked. I installed the new mani/turbo with thoughts of using the old downpipe... Uhhh yeah.

Well the downpipe eventually fit after cutting some slits in the bend and beating the ---- out of it with a hammer. It wouldnt clear the oil pan as the flange for the turbo off of the manifold wasn't in the same place as the old set up.

It just seemed like the smallest things found ways to go wrong. Remember those pics I promised? Well the digi cam is broke. The oil filter took a ---- on me when I took it off, I have more coolant in my hair than in the car, you name it - it happened. ---- I even found out I didn't get accepted to the college I want to go to.

Anyways, I go on the test drive and take my friend home... All is well, thing works fine, and the turbo sounds awesome, and I eventually started beating on it to make sure it was up to my standards. But 7 miles away from home a coolant line busts (that I thought i fixed earlier in my garage) and my car starts to overheat. ----. My car is stranded and I have to go work on it tomorrow morning in a parking lot in freezing cold weather.

---- coolant lines, ---- college, I need a beer.

Engine never overheated when I ran the coolant lines into the old turbo. No big deal there, plus it helps with longevity and now I don't exactly need a turbo timer.
