1. he doesnt know what these pistons are
2. he is ------ing obviously falsities by saying hypers are weaker than cast aluminum
3. he attacked this guy who told facts about HU pistons, which were all correct i might add. the guy said that PEOPLE are idiots, and that if they introduced them into the import market, some people would install them wrong and they would get a bad rap. he even said this held true when HU pistons were first introduced into the v8 market, and HU pistons got a bad rap. this guy also said that HU pistons CAN be much better than off the shelf forged alum pistons which is true too, id already said this a bunch of times but if you do not mate the forged alum piston to the cylinder its going into it was increase the severity of all the problems forged alum has, piston slap/ring wear/cylinder wall wear/ext...

i love it how people who know very little about something are so eager to say it's ----. WHY DON'T YOU MAKE THEM AVAILABLE FOR IMPORTS?. REPLY (in my own words): because people are idiots and we know there will be a lot of failures before everyone in the import market learns to install them correctly (they require a large ring-end-gap or the top land WILL be broken in short order). a piston is a piston, V8 or honda 4.
This is what started the flame war. You make a confrontational post and someone's going to get fired up. Yeah, maybe Dr. Boost shouldn't have gotten so pissed off but so what.
If the kid wants to be a baby a leave cause one forum member argues with him than he probably wouldn't have stayed long anyways.Dr. Boost has been apart of this forum for a long time, its not some ------- noob. You tell him to chill the ---- out with the flaming and he will. I think its a little fucked up and childish to take away his mod powers and ban him over one thread. Take away his mod powers if he's ------- up numerous threads and doing nothing but flamming but he happened to get banned for one thread which happened to be an argument between you and him
