I don't need to read the opinions of a socialogist, I study socialogy everyday out here in the real world.
It's only impossible to win an argument with an "ignent" person because people are only "ignant" (2nd degree racists) when they are telling the truth and there's no disputing the facts. "Ignant" people just know what they are talking about, when the loser is usually ignant to the facts. Who's ignent now?

Arguing on the interent about racisim is as about as unproductive as you can get. Just spewing individual perceptions on someone else disregarding everything that they say does nothing. You can always try to one up someone elses value/beleif by veiwing it from a diffrent angle and your not going to be able to push this beleif structure on someone else. These concepts must be self earned for them to be trusted. This is a shot to someones pride and to their ability to think about a topic or a situation clearly. No ones going to just blindly follow ---- they have no conceptual basis in, that someone else told them unless they're afraid of it. Especially if these concepts and opinions are deliverd in the form of an arguement. You're not going to change the opposition opinion. The most you could hope for by doing this is gathering up people who have mildly formed the same concept as you to nut swing on your self rightious path and go "me to". Way to go everyone, way to go.
