Rads, what are you running?
I've got a 1991 Civic hatch, and i'm trying desperately to fit a 96 aluminum half rad(similar or same to 92-95), and it's too tall, does anyone have ideas on how to make this work? I'm sure it's been posted a hundred times but i did a search and can't seem to track it down. If not, other than spending big $$$$ on a fluidyne or something, what are my other options?

Re:Rads, what are you running?
you have to ---- around with the lower rad support, I just beat mine down with a big hammer, but it would be smarter to re weld the little holder things, using some spacers the put them farther down.

what is a leet crossmember?
Zip ties? I don't want to go quite that ghetto...
I've seem some pics on here with guys that have done it, it just seems like the front subframe is in the way, if i cut of the bottom of the rad support will i have enuf room? I dont' want to hack it if i don't have to

Re:Rads, what are you running?
look at abaz's flat rate b18, you can see the 1337 crossmember. if you don't want to go ghetto then you should just get a body kit that had the needed bracket already installed next to the 18 pairs of fog lights.

I have a full legnth teg one, but there is no room, the turbo hits it, there's no way it'll work.. As for jeff's x-member, wow, that's awesome but would require more skill than i happen to have! I just don't want to hack the ---- outta my car..I was hoping the alum rad would make up for any cooling issues, but i don't know as this is try #1 at boosted b18

Re:Rads, what are you running?
I am running a J-Mac (I don't know if that's just a local place or not?) radiator. It's basically just an oem type replacement, but it has a lifetime warranty and they do honor it, so if something happens, oh well, just go get a new one.
