Re: R.I.P Richard Pryer
when strum thurmond died, there was a media firestorm about how in one of his speeches one line could be taken out of context and skewed into a racist comment.
now a self proclaimed racist, who openly was racist his whole life, smoked crack and did other hard drugs his entire life is priased in the media.
because he is black and not white.
---- richard pryor, he was funny in his movies.

Re: R.I.P Richard Pryer
man don't ---- up this thread with that racist bullshit. he was a comedian. He started a trend that made him famous. White people went to his show and listen to him just as much as black people. Don't come and claim something you don't know thats not the point of this thread. The race card is getting old nobody wants to keep pickering back and forth about that ----.

The campaign from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which criticizes chicken chain KFC for the treatment of chickens before slaughter, will feature comedian Richard Pryor in billboards in African American neighborhoods in Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington.
Other prominent African Americans including Russell Simmons, founder of hip-hop label Def Jam, NAACP President Kweisi Mfume and Princeton University professor Cornel West will offer their support for PETA’s campaign.
