The article I read stated a chemical that turned into GHB after ingestion. You won't find GHB outside of the body as it bonds immediately with all sorts of stuff in nature. In the rave scene you'd see Na-GHB and K-GHB salts, sometimes GBL. I worked as informal/untrained aka unsueable medical assistance at raves 6-11 years ago and I assure you my knowledge of the subject surpasses that of any EMT, ER doc, or DEA agent I've ever met. That goes for most drug reactions, interactions, ODs, and LDs.
