Re: Question for you Mustang people...
I'll definitely get the car if I can bolt a strong V8 5 speed trans onto it. The motor could wait a while. I'm not looking to pull the front wheels off the ground (yet ) I just want to beat the ---- out of it. I think with my hatred of Mustangs, especially v6 ones this car would be in for the *** kicking of its life

The V6 has a weaker 7.5 rear. I bet I could throw a turbo on that V6 and beat 85% of the Hondas on the road. As long as it would do doughnuts, I'll be happy. I just wouldn't be able to stand the automatic trans

Just get a fox and swap a 302 or 351W in it or something. It's actually not that hard of a swap (already did a 302 engine/tranny/rear end swap), and those engines come a dime a dozen, just like hondas
Hell, even for that much work, 5.0 stangs are not expensive at all. My buddy (who we did the swap on) got a 91 with uninstalled GT40 heads, shorty heades, full exhaust, larger throttle body and a bunch of other ---- for 3700. Body is clean as hell and only has 60k miles on it. They inexpensive and can be made very very fast for cheap.

$7000 for a bone stock 93 GT Black/black with unknown miles. I hate this town.....
It's hard to find them in "decent" condition. I've found them for ~$2500ish, but they are fucked up.

Re: Question for you Mustang people...
i dunno if they did this back then, but on the note of turbo'ing the v6, my mom just picked up an 05 v6 convertible, and the damn intake manifold is plastic.
did they always do that? I know the 97 GT she had before that had a weak *** intake manifold too.
I should know, I cracked it.
