Default Question on a turbo for my D series

Hey I am new to the Turbo scene. I own a 1990 CRX Si with a d16y7 it need more umph and a buddy of mine has a T-25 set-up that he used on his D series. Will the T-25 produce a significant increase in power? and will the stock block hold up well? also would it be wise to keep the motor stock or will a mini me conversion produce too much compressionm for the Turbo. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, John.

Do a compression test and what ever the results from that then decide. You don't have to build a motor to get a descent amount of hp out of it.

She tested out at 215 in all cylinders. Is $300.00 for a full turbo setup a good price? Just curious dont want to pay more than I should.

So is a T-25 full set-up with inter-cooler with straight pipe and Greddy exhaust capable of 13 second passes or will I be stuck in the 14's?

with slicks and a new clutch, and the tree giving you a 1 second start you might be able to hit 13sec.

so your friend want to sell that kit or whats up.

If you can drive you should be able to run 13's with slicks no problem.
