Two outlet are on the same wall about 10 feet apart and the third one is on another corner of the room. I will probly just replace all the wires (they look like ---- and could burn up anytime :1 ) and run them on the edge of the wall....
put ur wires in the wall dude.. resale would be ---- if you had conduit wires ran along your wall.. some people put wire in the base trim if needed.. just cut your drywall, and put ur pieces back, mud it in, sand it.. paint it.. done

don`t worry I rented that place . the owner (my friend ) said he will take care of it but i don`t want to bother chaining down my dog since no ones home during the day.

cloth covered and the whole wire oxided into the center , they look identical to the those wires at where I use to live, a 100+ years old house.
