anyway yes you can do better than 15.9, my friend has a 90 crx si with stock d16a6 with short ram intake, DC header, thermal exhaust, MSD 6A ignition and ran 15.63 on street tires at the track. and D series all the way!!!

Well i think i could get a lot more people to agree. Ive had lotsa expereince with the d16z6. I just know how people over react about there cars. and how they CAN go faster. oh well

My 1991 Civic Si came stock with a D16A6 motor, unless some "special person" put in there that i wasn't aware of, who knows "it could happen".
Anyways my friend threw this motor in his 97 HX coupe and ran a 15.9 he had the head milled .003, port and polished head, header, full exhaust 2 1/2" no cat, SCI MSD, 9.5mm wires, aem adjustable cam gear, B & M fuel pressure regulator, forced induction cold air intake(ran the intake to where the head light went so forced induction almost
ok maybe not), tokico coilovers, sturt tower bar, street tires, weight reduction. The track was 150 degrees that day and he couldn't seem to get traction, too bad we didn't have slicks and the ------ track wasn't so hot i think he could of had approx. 15.5.
