i guess it could be parvo. it not a garenteed killer but not many survive. we had a puppy that got parvo the vet told us that he could watch her and keep her hydrated or we could take her home and just keep her hydrated. they told us that the second one has a higher success rate because the puppy in in a familiar place but you need to pretty much stay with them constanly for about a week. but hopefully it is just something small

woot woot. thanks for the advice

well. i think i missled u about the bones part :P its not just stripped bone.. it actually has fat and bits of meat in it. hella plenty marrow..

and i boiled the beef seprete from the chicken.. the puppy has no problem biting through the chicken.. and it just bites the ---- out of the bigger bones till it breaks the outer edges.. and eats up the marrow..
but ----. im gonna not feed it anything except for puppy food.. it WILL give in eventually right?

i just got her canned food.. but i REALLY dont want to give it to her.. untill i take her to the vet tomorrow.. i found someone else.. cause i dont want liquid ---- all over my car.. and no. im not being selfish :P

i just looked up parvo.. and my puppy was just arround my neighbors dog the other day his dog is more than 7 years old or something..
but my puppy shows no diarrhea.. no wierd looking poop.. its still eating.. doesnt look to be in pain..

this new vet said 100 bucks... so tomorrow morning ill be going to get her the shots..

Are we talking about bones from steaks and ---- or are we talking all kinds of bones including "dog bones" from the store? I feed my dog those little store bought dog bones all the time.

Anything high in sodium is bad for dogs. Can lead to pancreantitis and renal failure but if thats what you gotta do to make her eat..Just try to ween him/her off it

we talkin bout real skeletal animal bones.

Speaking of chewbones, you ever seen those "Greenies" they are like $20 a box!! Anywho, my fiance is doing externships at a vet practice right now and they've had a bunch of dogs come in from choking on them.

For chewbones, Id suggest something that dissolves and not that hard gelatin-like stuff. That or something plastic thats too big to swallow.

Well sell greenies out the warehouse where I work. They don't move that well because they're so damn expensive.
