puppy question.
my dog is salvinating.. not all the time.. but more like in bursts.. comes and goes.. alot.. and sometimes she licks it up sometimes she just lets it get all over her.. clear liquid.. kinda runny..
went to the vet and they said they cant see the dog till next week..
im looking for another vet right now.
my question is. does my dog have rabies? or do u know what the hell it is?
never had shots..

you should get the shots. i don't know what the deal is. all my dogs had their shtos on time and they don't slobber all over the place. i've seen dogs who haven't had shots do that. rabies looks like white foam.

i have no idea.. its not even like vomit..
how much do shots run for? the guy is trying to tell me 275 dollars? i look at him and im like wtf..
also.. how hard is it to give shots to a puppy? i used to give shots to my grandma but that was a long time ago.. havent done one in a while...

I'ver heard enough vet talk to know what questions to ask so here goes:
What's the dog's age and breed? (certain breeds are more prone to certain problems)
How long has it had this symptom?
Any other symptoms? lack of appetite, less energy than normal, etc?
any excessive sneezing? Dog seem sad or act different when its doing this? Is it like mucous or more like saliva?
Could it have gotten into any chemicals? i.e. antifreeze, etc?

How long does a coughing session last? Is the dog ever boarded in a kennel with other dogs? Was it vaccinated for Kennel Cough?
