Yup, just like the waterboarding thing:

USA: We can waterboard because our country is threatened, and we don't deserve punishment for it
Japan: When we did the same while our country was threatened, USA executed those involved
USA: Well, I'm USA

Double standards like a ----------er.

The Bush Administration, while publicly advocating diplomacy in order to stop Iran from pursuing a nuclear weapon, has increased clandestine activities inside Iran and intensified planning for a possible major air attack.

It would bring world peace.

Bush should have spent the $1 trillion+ that's gone to the war to air-drop orange chicken to countries instead.

I think we nominated ourselves.

We don't want to be policed, nor does any other country/person in the entire world.

second link is a 2 year old article, thanks.

what makes you think the president needs to appropriate funds for clandestine activities? the last accountability audit says we lost something like 9 billion dollars and have no idea what happened to it. Its an election year though, unless Iran does something to justify an attack I don't think we will risk messing with them (with the whole world watching) because technically aggression without provacation is against international law as defined by Nuremburg.

Also Mr Seymore Hersh goes into great detail about how this all works, go to youtube and search for him, he's probably one of the last actual investigative reporters out there. http://youtube.com/watch?v=jf0vEiPUjws

Add to that the 12 billion we've handled for Iraqi oil sales, that's been sent back to their country in cash to build their new sewer, electric, government and educational infrastructure. You know, the one they don't have?

Everybody's been fucked over by this war so a handful of good old buddy profiteers can run off with some loot, but if you say it you are un-American because you don't support the solders.
