your chamber is twice as big as it needs to be.

add +4 foot to the barrel and you'll be golden

From your attitude in this thread, and the other thread. I would say its hardly friendly advice.

if you want to spend more on the gun than you would for in 5 months of gas, then yeah. pressure ratings are useless unless you test the gun to the pressure you're going to be using, plus around 40 percent, mainly for connection strength/defects in pipe.

if you're going aluminum, its pointless for a combustion. (unless you want the look and weight of it, then knock yourself out, but properly socket welded PVC is safe) thanks to years of testing by hundreds of properly practiced solvent welding spudders.

the 250psi+ produced by a hybrid, is more than capable of handling itself in an aluminum gun, but fittings and unions will be the hardest part.
look up the definition of a hybrid on spudtech, it's basically like putting 30psi on a 12:1 motor. unless you did it right... hope you like 10 fingers. ---- gets nasty at 100psi explosions, i don't want to see 250+.

and yeah, safety is no problem. lots of people have used duct tape to wrap a gun up, but think. is duct tape going to stop a bullet going though a window? it's redundant. screws into the fittings AFTER its dry is about as much safety you can give, unless you thread/tap in a bunch of 1/4" or #10 bolts. and bracing is a must on any off angle stress areas (such as over/under design, usually needs the barrel braced from flexing in the fittings and breaking the weld) that may break.

idk what else to tell you

there isn't any. how large of a gun are you looking for? i've made handheld pistols that shoot wire nuts close to 100ft, guns over 10ft long just in the barrel (this is where over/under comes in handy), and everything in between.

tell me what you want and i can write you up directions/parts list, or get at me on AIM/something and we'll talk about it
