oh yea, it is, IMO its made very poorly.

i worked in a furniture warehouse for a company that sold ashley furniture a few years ago.

ehh...my parents have had ashley furniture for a very long time....i think about 14 years now, no problems. I've had mine a little over a year, its been in 2 moves and still looks the day it did when I sat in it at the furniture store. My bedroom suit I have only had a few months. Its 100% solid wood, I have 100% faith it will last many years to come.
