like it says, here's the vid. notice how my stock n/a b16 pulls on his turbo charged d16z6 on almost every pull. he was usually getting me by about half a car on the jump, then i was rolling by him. most were done from third gear, but notice the second gear pull (the really dark one, i had the windows up)

damn dude i got disoriented as hell. couldn't tell what was what. i did see you pulling by him on a few runs and then the second gear pull you pulled away pretty hard.

the camera man gets no props for this :P but you can see franks head lights when ever i pass him, and that's all that's important.

the camera man should be beat for that video. hahaha he did a decent job of following franks car but the lighting was horrible. you need to catch frank in the daylight.

yeah that would be real nice cause then we could see some real numbers. that way whoever gets the jump it really doesn't matter cause the numbers will tell the tale.

ok, let me sum it up. the camera is from inside my passenger seat, so when you see tail lights, frank is in front of me, when you see me coming up and passing corner lights, that's me passing frank.

tail lights = frank in front
head lights = me in front


yes, the video sucks, but it's better than us arguing back and forth saying "na, this is what 'really' happened".

obvesouly the camera man was in kevins car. i didnt think my taillights look to bad from kevins view.

i always was ahead of kevin till about 100-105mph. from a dead stop, i really think he would own me.

not to make excuses, but after about 95mph, i lost all clutch pedal. it would go dead, nothing there. no pressure what so ever, so i was maxing out 4th gear, and not being able to shift into 5th. i think its from no DP, the heat heating up the slave cyl, and heating the fluid. -either that or the fact i have synthetic fluid mixed with non syn. something is fucked up with it.

but ohh well, i thought it was pretty interesting. 5psi on an untuned d16 vs, ubertuned b16 was pretty even from a roll. it all depeneded on who got the jump on the start.

so other than that, it was a good time. hopefully sunday we can go to the track. -or at the least get some daytime footage sometime this week....
