I can't see an area on the forum for members Projects,so I thought may go under here.
This is my 2.8 V6 cologne XR4i

Imported from Germany in 2004 and has not yet been registered in the UK,because I've been working on it since then because the turbo conversion on it,an Eichberg kit,is not a complete kit. The previous owner has just planted on the turbo and plumbing. Eichberg informed me that they bored out the block and used a stroker crank in it and dished pistons. And the middle spark plug was so close to the turbo manifold that it was only possible to remove it by one slight turn at a time,not enought swing. So I had a manifold made,before I owned a mig welder.

As I had established it isn't a complete Eichberg kit and was running on standard comp ratio 9.2 with 5psi of boost,which is ok. As the turbo is a KKK 3lkz,I'm sure it will be throwing in more boost. So I have decide to put a 2.3 V6 Cologne crank in,which has a shorter stroke.
I was intending to convert the XR4i to 4WD at a later stage,but decided to go ahead with it. This involved in cutting out the OE tunnel,and weld in a tunnel to suit the 4x4 gearbox.
Almost complete.
