Default Problems with my REX...help me please?

Hey, I've been having a slight problem with my Rex, I don't know if its serious or what.
My car usually idles about 900-1000 RPM. However, sometimes the engine doesn't realize this and begans going nuts. It revs up to 1500 RPM then drops down to about 400. Anyone else have a similiar problem? Thanks to anyone that can help.

o2 sensor or the EAIC(or whatever you want to call it)would be my guess.

ZC engine/tranny swap, CAI and cat-back exhaust.

What could I do to check to see which it is?

A o2 sensor will not cause the idle to fluctuate like that. The IACV however will. I've replaced tons of Idle air control valves on hondas. They are located on the backside of the intake mani. 2 12mm bolts 2 5/16 coolant lines.

When my o2 went bad it made my car idle like ----, but I guess it wasn't fluctuating. It was more like a constant shitty idle.

How much does one of those cost? Please don't say too much... My rex has had parts of it dying on me recently and he's sucked up most of my money.

I would pull it off and spray it with carb cleaner first. Clean the ---- out of it.
