problem.....
soooo i got my friends to come over and they were helping me rip apart the tranny....and we didn't see the bolt hiding under the starter....sooo we spent like 4 hours trying to rip it apart finally we ripped it off.....and the screw stayed connected to the tranny...and a chunk of the block came with it.... i really dont wanna have to buy another block.....would jb weld work? lol thanz

Did you get into the water jacket or is it just a chunk of metal? If it's just metal weld it back on, I have done that before rebuilding wrecks. If you don't have the equipment or the experience call a local welder with a mobile unit on a truck to come to your house. It will be WAY cheaper and easyer than replacing the block. If you are into the water jacket (leaking coolant) your screwed.

OMG! Punch your friends in the nuts for that one! How hard were they yanking on it? WTF? Didn't they realize something was still attached and try to check first before hulking that bitch off?
I would try to weld it if it's not into the water. What's the worst that could happen? If it doesn't work you have to buy a new block, if it does, than cool.
