Yeah I just noticed there's only like 6 hd shows or whatever.

Anything looks good to me after the old *** $50 tv in the living room. :P

I'm pretty sure hulu.com is legit. I was watching CNBC and it said to see more full episodes of American Greed and other CNBC originals to go to hulu.com. I'm not sure how it all works but I would imagine they make their money off of the advertisements. There was talk of doing something similar to this with youtube as well, companies allowing copyrighted material to be posted as long as they could throw in a few ads. I think they even had some kind of software that would detect if something was copyrighted or not, and if it was who owned the rights - and would automatically put a water mark or a short ad on there and just let it fly on youtube without it getting pulled off the website.

I think there's a lot of potential for stuff like this. I would even go as far to pay a membership fee if there was a bigger selection of shows and movies, and it was cheaper than the cable service I pay for now - maybe even reducing or removing commercials for paid memberships. I'd even pay to watch movies in high quality to cut out all the trouble of finding a decent stream on watch-movies or going to the goddamn video store. Netflix has something like that but the last time I checked the selection for online viewing blew ***.

I only pay like $15 per month for cable (tell them you just want the basic service without the box, you still get a ton of channels as long as you dont have the box), but that is still pretty damn cool.

They tried telling me i would need the box for the digital switch but when they did the "test" my ---- worked fine. Saves me $7 a month and i get more channels. Im cheap.

The "box" just allows you to get more channels. It's a game. Basic cable generally offers about 80 channels. I don't know how you pay $15 a month for basic cable, but $30-35 is what normal people spend.

You can spit game and get deals like that for the "first six months." About month five call in to cancel, tell them the normal price is just too expensive and if you are paying those prices you GET SO MUCH MORE from a dish. They'll bump up your package and lower your price, but I guess normal people don't think about this.

Right now is a great time to call and dicker price based on economic woes, whether or not you are feeling them. I learned that from my main ***** Stephen T. Smith.
