I just bought a fiberglass R/T hood for the Challenger, and i was driving that around while rocking the grey gel coat

but i took care of that this evening with the ol' rattle can!! Got tired of the miss matched colors, it was looking like Playskools' my first hot rod

that makes me wanna steal my old mans spare challenger, its a 73 with front and rear 70 r/t clips, gotta a nice lil 383 sitting in it begging for the twins.

Thanks, I'd like to see some pics of your ol' man's ride, pm me some pics if you get a chance! I was going to go the twin chrysler turbo route like johnny, but i decided I liked the simplicity of a single turbo set up, so I fabbed up a single turbo manifold for this one, its only got a 318 in it, but it has a few of the cop car mods done to it. Right now I'm looking at a t70 or t66 turbo, but not really sure if this is the right turbo to go with. Not making a drag car, I want it to be streetable... but still HMT respectable! any thoughts?

I drive a primered Civic.---- paint.I actually get more respect from the local muscle car guys because my car is primered.I wouldn't drive a primered Civic if it was NA or slow though.

If people knew what kind of work it takes to get all that black primer ---- off when you actually decide to do a real paint job, they wouldn't ever do it.

i've been drivin around w/ a primered hood forever now. i'm so damn lazy i havn't gotten it painted. what should i expect to pay at macco or some other shop just to have the hood sprayed?

if ur buying a car for cheap and u dont have alot of money for looks i dont see a problem with making it flat black or grey or white basic colors always look descent as long as the car is strait
