Ok, so let me get this straight. When America retires a flag...I.E Old Glory, it is considered a custom to "burn" or retire the flag. It is said that if a flag is "worn, torn, or faded" it should be inciterated by the traditional means. Scouts do this, Veterans do this, and some times the military does this. So does that mean they are all terrorists? Tell me somebody knew this before they just threw out the comment "Everybody who burns a flag is a ------- terrorist." C'mon

When you retire a flag you ARE suppost to burn it. The reason I was told when in the Air Force is so that if you burn it, nobody else can. It's more respectful than leaving it to be "possibly" burned by someone else.
