That is basically like sucking through a straw.
The reason the water sits at the bottom is the fact that there is a chamber down there and room for it to bubble. 1/2 is too small if the whole thing is a 1/2 inch.
shotgun hole would help, but then it wouldn't be a bong and it would become a bubbler, but your design is really flawed in the fact that there is no chamber.
You pretty much fucked yourself on it being water friendly
and your ms paint looks like a giant turd that i ---- out earlier today.
