Yes, the 4A/7AFE suck in that regards. That's what the "F" is...for economy. Narrow valve angle. There's that backlash gear...it had moved a bit and as a result, my intake cam was retarded quite a bit...sounded like a damn diesel.

No more F heads for me! True twincam!

Yea, got the HG replaced. New one matched the block much better and it didn't have graphite on the head side. So, I copper coated it and slapped it on there.

Went for an N/A drive last night, but radiator that came with front clip has a hole in it. So, I ordered a new radiator, just got done installing it. Bout to go for a hoodless drive...
