On a good tune, sure you can go beyond 300... But most people who own these cars call up one of the chip tunning companys and they give you a very roundabout tune and ship it to you and say 'Have fun!'. Never once do they have you drive your car to there place and put it on a dyno and run it to see if its will be healthy for your car. Lets face it, that roundabout tune might be good for one car at a certain boost level, and then on the next it might lean it out or run it pig rich like I've seen some of the chips do...

incorrect... Stock rods give out some where a little past 300wtq Once they are swapped its game for more power. But its also not quite that easy to squeeze power out of the motor.

to the OP 2002 is an awp engine code i believe. Order your parts through germanautoparts.com cheapist prices usually.

one thing i have noticed trolling over this forum for years is.....

Honda guys hate vw's and their owners.......Vw guys usually like clean hondas?

oh and hotrex has herpes.....

No, we hate newer VWs. Aircooled and watercooled up to the early 90s are cool with us. Funny thing is the early VW guys think the later VW guys are ------- idiots.

The local guy who aligns all the 200-700 whp Hondas is an OG VW guy, good people too.

Easy skipper, just because he's got a veedub doesn't mean he wants to cornhole you.
