id wory about a fire i can understand the interior being dirty. getitng out of the car and back in over and over again trying to fix wiring problems then being so pissed at the car you dont want to finish it. if it doesnt bother him then i guess its none of our probolems. but that arcing could catch your ---- on fire..

Arcing from what... if anything the sensor would not function properly. Its not like he had a huge bare wire connected to his positive battery terminal just dangling around the engine bay.
