Default ---- the police

I got pulled over like a month ago for doing a 2nd gear pull down a pretty busy street right infront of a cop that was going the other way. I had a girl in the car and I was showing off, right, well that fucken cop turned around and finally caught up with me a few blocks down the road. By this time I was being a law abiding citizen but he pulled me anyway and gave me a big speech about how what I did was disrespectful and how he should give me 5 different tickets for all this random crap he couldn't prove. Only thing he got me for was not having proper proof of insurance, although I did have insurance.

Fast forward to today, my court date for the no insurance ticket and I don't feel like going. Since I have all the proper proof and it's not going to be any big deal I decided to wear this shirt into court:

Sorry the pic is kind of blurry...it reads "Road Ragers School of driving, Aggressive driving 101: tailgating course, sign language classes, hit and run techniques" etc

Take that, court house. Kind of a lame post but I'm bored waiting for it to be time to go in to court

Edit: This just adds insult to injury

(as he laughs), hes like, you still haev the plate? Sure do sir! Ok, put it on when you get home, no fine or court cost, have a good day

Sounds like a simple case, do you have proof that you had insurance THEN? I'm getting fucked over with my insurance company, i got in a wreck and they are trying to say I never had insurance, although I paid them every month for it so ---- the insurance companies too!

I wouldn't wear that shirt though, judge might think you're cocky and throw the book at you :1

It's one of those things where it sounds funny and it would be funny, and probably you could get away with it in a movie or something, but in real life, uhm, NO, it would still be funny, but it won't help your case. That's like being charged for murder and walking into the courtroom with a bloody knife, it's stupid.

and if you get one of these ***** judges, or one that just finished with a row of minor offenders he might feel the need to pick you as the lucky pay for everyone's mistakes case.

I'm with you on this one, why poke the bear, just play the game, dress nice, say your "sirs" and "thank yous" and life will be alot easier, you can not fight the man... it will only make your life more difficult

I don't know. Here you can get a ticket for not having proof. Doesn't matter if you really have it, it's a ticket for not keeping proof in your car.

You will get a ticket if you don't have proof but in Illinois if you bring the proof to court they have to drop it judge can't change the state law if he doesnt like your shirt and even if you don't have insurance by your court date they give you a continuance and give you a chance to get insurance but with a small fine
