bought a integra type r oil pump from a ebay acura parts dealer, and the part number is 15100-p72-A01. can someone confirms if this is the real deal. thanks

yup thats it. and fyi there is no such thing as a type r pump, its a gsr pump

still a gsr pump, honda didnt make pumps specifically for the type r, they just used the gsr pump

What came first, the chicken or the egg? What if they are actually Hype R pumps and the GSR actually uses the Hype R pump? Ever think about that, huh smart guy? Huh?!

gsr came out in 92 not 96 like the type r

so why the ---- these **** sucking engine builders on h-t always recomend Hype r pumps? I just paid $30 extra for a gsr pump because I bought it in the name of type r, and it turns out my b16 pump was not bad, but ---- it! I changed it anyways.

actually all pumps 96+ integra pumps are all the same thing. dont believe me. www.acuraautomotiveparts.org and search the catalog
