I know what you mean by polishing everything. i just learned how to do it a little while a go. I polished my turbo, a valve cover, my intake and anything else that is aluminum. a DA sander with some 1400 will take the swirls out of the finish. and of coarse a polish with a dremel and some turtle wax scratch remover to make that bitch shine. only way to learn how to weld is to do it. practice makes perfect. Welcome to HMT you made a way better intro then i did.

So let me add to how bad it COULD have been, as mentioned before i was in iraq, i come home for my 2 weeks R&R
to discover ex wifey had accumulated over 1200 bucks in bounced check FEES (not including check amount), which she pillaged my bank account to cover...
After only barely resisting the urge to mow her down with a ditchwitch, she says "But i used 200 bucks of it on stuff for your car! you said you wouldnt be pissed if i used money to take care of the car"
bewildered as to what this may have been i ask, what might have you aquired for 200 bucks to take care of the ride?
she then proceeds to "close your eyes don't look" routine with
A GOD DAMN NEON UNDERCAR KIT!!! (still in box)
The only words i could manage to muster were....."please tell me you still have the reciept."
aaand of course she doesn't....SO it to this day is in the attic, waiting to be given away free to the first person who vouleenteers to find her, hunt her down like a nig takin off with your rims, and shoving all 12 foot of neon tube up her fat ***, plugging it up to a 12 volt, and kicking her into a swimming pool.
just a little bitter...my bad
