Drinking lots of water and niacin are not things I've heard consistent reports on, especially since the alcohol (edit, been drinking) THC sits in your fat and water isn't going to help flush it out.

Best, safest, 100% foolproof way is to go to a local headshop and buy synthetic urine. I always keep a bottle on hand and have passed numerous tests with it. Comes with temperature strip on it and a heating pad.

If you needed the job you shouldn't have smoked. Go to GNC and get some ---- Called Omni. its like a 2 oz. bottle and like 5 or 6 pills. Do it like 7 or 8 hours before hand and do your self a favor and start drinking so you can pee like a good 3 or 4 times before. its got a ---- ton of vitamins in it or something cause you pee anti-freeze the first like 3 times. worked like a champ though.

I drugscreen my pre-hires on a weekly basis. I used to screen them suring our safety class, but then they caught on and would know they would have to take a whiz quiz.

Telling you, just get the synthetic urine. In a lot of cases it's cheaper than the system flush and it's guaranteed to work. I've heard people saying the flush worked for them, and heard people that said it didn't (reliable sources, family and friends who've tried it themselves).
