sorry if it was already mentioned, but that civic was painted flat black the day it was brought home, then put on ebay within a week or so. i dont understand how you sell a garbage hatch setup for 7k lol jus cuz it was on pinks. the motor wasn't worth much, so the 7k was for the turbo kit n chassis which was theft recovery or whatever. i can't wait to watch this

Yes and I own my own business too. You don't THROW MONEY AWAY to make money. Guess we will have to see the episode to see what it is really about. I just don't see it as a good business move. I am still referring to the fact that they did not bother to install a boost gauge and the fact that having that bit of info could have netted them a win...which would have been really good foro business.

So a little birdie told us today to expect to see it as episode 8 (the last one of the season go figure) which will be on around the first week of freaking April!

Geez, producers are killing me here...

Anyway, they can say the NOS didn't work, whatever. The system was charged and able to purge. The solenoids worked when I pulled them off their car to keep them and put them on mine

Either way, the $7k I got for selling their hard work sits fine in my wallet

BTW, I am selling the car after the show airs if anyone is interested. Not sure if I am going to do a silent auction, or post it on the forums or ebay it. Depends I guess how it looks when the time comes.

Apparently they won't show our episode until the end of the season because it is supposed to be the best episode they shot, and will draw the most audience. blah blah blah. I guess there will be alot of the guys from Honda-Tech jocking the stinky pinky as it gets handled...even with our less than perfect driving (you'll see when you see the race lol)

Anyone else notice something funny?......

Speed Machine PINKS Episode Party
On April 5th, our episode of PINKS will debute. Everyone is welcome to come to our episode premier at The Blvd in San Marcos, CA (San Diego County) We will start showing up around 7pm or so, and the episode is supposed to air at 9

0pm. The bar holds 100 people in the area with the TV's, so first come first serve on seating. The overall bar is much bigger but I figured that would be a good sized venue, and it is cheap for us to rent

So plan for showing up between 7pm and 9

0pm, and after the show we will hang out and get drunk probably, so feel free to hand out afterwards, or if you have to work the next day, you can still come, watch and make it home to get a good nights sleep!

Full race did another episode. I think it was a CRX w/ a B16 vs some crazy *** bug.

Full-Race hands it to them pretty good. Vids etc were posted on HT a while ago. As much as I hate FR and their overpriced ----, they are certainly making money and getting their name out there. According to both HT threads of both cars they built for the show, they made these cars out of crap laying around (stock d, some old *** B, and assorted ---- they had around the shop).
