yea, i hear leaded gas will mess with your afr's a little too. around what psi were you running, could you hear any detonation or is your car to loud to single out the sound of det. ??

Ya I drove it for a couple months boosted after the initial damage, then another few unboosted, and it just gradually got worse and worse!!! Oh, and REALLLY let it have iot the last couple of days, to where # 4 wasnt firing...LOL, wonder why??

The other three cyl's looked fine.

leaded gas + wideband o2 = incorrect WB rading or a dead wideband

like timing much? hope you paid the tuner with paypal...50 grit sandpaper was exactly what i was thinking. what program were you using?

It was my own fault... He wanted to pull timing, i said no.. I was running a mix of trick and 92 at the trime so it was fine.... I DIDNT run the mix, and thats what fucked it up... The reason THAT piston looks so fucked up is all the oil getting in trhe combustion chamber and causing detonation ( i ran it another 2 months boosted after, and then 3-4 months N/A after that).... The other three pistons looked perfect on top. Once the lands went in number 4, then it got the hole in it... All the oil contamination lead to detonation.. which led to the 50 grit!! But ONLY in cyl 4.

I thought it was worthy of a carnage pic, looks like I was right. If you cant appreciate the raw nig-ality of it. Kindly, go ---- yourself!!!

never seen that ---- before. that says a lot about those motors. i would imagine anything else would have just meted a hole.
