Everybody should have a good set of tools especially if you work on cars. Remember guys he works on cars for a living so $6,000 on a toolbox isn't as much as it may seem.

I think I spent about $1,000 on craftsman tools and a toolbox back when I wanted to be a mechanic. My dad was also a mechanic so I aquired all of his snap on tools and his toolbox as well. I dropped out of auto class after the first quarter though. I remember when the snap on guy came and tried selling tools and toolboxes, now those were expensive.

Did it come with tools? Just curious could a good set of air tools and power tools could justify the 6k

Very nice Jeff, I love matco as well.

I find it more than funny how some of you guys have no idea how much "good" tools and boxes cost. Craftsman just doesn't cut it in a shop setting to say the least.

I have a matco box as well, I've had it a copule of years now. Its a proformance 56" and I have the top and bottom chest. I only have one pic that I could find. Let me just say the black looks soo sweet, yeah for about 1 day

Yours is a lot bigger so it seems...but I bet you didn't get 55% off of yours for being a student either now did you Mine is already full, it certainly doesn't take long to fill these things!

Nice box bro!
I have the 7535 series,SAME DAMN color too!
Seems like we have the same tastes in tool boxes.
See you are more like the old man than you think.
Oh and for all you out there, yes those boxes are Uberexpensive!
I had to take out a damn mortguage on mine.

A big tool box like that makes me think of the joker from batman,"Where does he get all of those cool toys!"

Yea, thats what they all say. You will have the top box before you know it. I figure I could have paid for a college education for what I have in tools. I could have bought a nice new car for what I have in sockets and rachets.
