yep i picked up a 91 crx si, had been looking for one for forever finally found the cleanest one i had seen and had to just hound the guy to get it to sell it to me over the other people begging him to sell it to them lol...
but i threw my circuit 8's on there and they look 100x cleaner on the rex than they ever did on my civic. sorry for the pic quality it was taken with my phone


and what i have sitting here in my garage just waiting on me to find a cable b-series tranny and begging to get thrown in...


somebody find me a cable b16/gsr tranny in TN/GA asap i cant wait to get this ****** b-equipped.

i'm ditching the a6 motor today for my 98 d16y8 motor with 0 miles on a rebuild with rock rings and bearings, arp head/rod bolts, cometic head gasket, y7 pistons, and i'll also be throwing in a different a6 tranny as this one has some grinds and using my spec 6 puck clutch and fidanza flywheel. so it'll at least be decently quick for now until i get the b in there, i'd like to find some zc pistons for it to bump the compression up as i will be keeping it all motor (since i already have a turbo honda my reason for getting this i wanna have a turbo one and then an all motor car...)

that tranny is a busted *** ls tranny i had lying around i just threw it on so my motor wouldn't fall over since my other motor is on the engine stand right now... but i was wondering will my flywheel and clutch (used previously in a 95 civic ex transmission) fit right into the crx's transmission? the one i'll be throwing on there is out of an 88 si, i know from 88-89 up they changed the spline from a 21 tooth to a 22 would that mean i need to find a different clutch disc? or could i take the spline out of the 91 transmission and put it in there, i've never popped a tranny open so i wouldn't know how hard doing that would be can anybody enlighten me?

91 si with 88-89 tails yuck I like the 90-91 way better...and i hate you..I've been looking for a clean si shell atleast and thats impossible to find :P

are they 88-89 tails? i wonder why they're on there it says in the door jamb mar. 1991 lol... maybe its last owner liked the 88-89's better ---- i dunno?
but i know its a 91 si its got the rear discs...
and yes, it was nearly impossible to find... and i bout had to put a gun to the guy's head to keep him from selling it while i sold my integra for the money to buy it from him... he was asking $1900 for it i talked him down to $1500

i see rust! (drivers side rear 1/4).

anywho. those are 88-89 tails. no the 95ex clutch will NOT work w/ an 88 trans because of the splines like u mentioned.

i agree 90/91 tails looks 100% better, imo.
